Community Drum Circle at Inner Alchemy

Inner Alchemy Community Drumming Circle

Inner Alchemy Community Drumming Circle

Inner Alchemy hosts a Community Drumming Circle every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Join Inner Alchemy Tribe member Stephen Scheurich to experience playing music together in an ensemble with facilitated improvisation/freestyle drumming and percussion. If you’ve been thinking about something new and different then this amazing event is for you. Discover your natural sense of rhythm (even if you don’t think you have any).

What makes drumming so inviting is that it is quite easy for inexperienced players to pick up without the frustration of learning technical skills. When you enter a facilitated drum circle, your only task is to contribute what you feel comfortable doing and the circle finds a way to embrace it in the melody. This in itself provides stress relief and positive energy for your psyche. A drum circle creates a sense of acceptance and community.

Stephen Scheurich

Stephen has been on the Shamanic Path, in many ways, since he was a small boy growing up in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri. Or has he says “Missoura”.

For the last several years Stephen embarked on a quest to unearth the meaning of these experiences and how best to work it into a practice. His experience facilitating Men’s Work and Drum Circles have opened up new understandings and the needs for humans to connect and have conversations about skills and knowledge they may not fully understand or know what to do with.

Stephen is on a teacher’s track as a student of The Alchemist Path.

Stephen's offerings at Inner Alchemy include: Power Animals and Spirit Guide Workshops, Community Building and Collaboration, Drum Circle facilitation, Altar Building and Smudging Workshop.
