DESCRIPTION

Join us at Inner Alchemy for an 8 week chakra sound bath series. Each week we will introduce one of the seven main chakras (energy centers) and work on tuning that specific chakra by surrendering to the sounds and vibrations of quartz crystal and Tibetan singing bowls. The final week will feature all the chakras. You may attend any or all of the series.

A sound bath is an experience of relaxation and healing through sound and vibration as participants lie or sit comfortably and bathe in the luscious soundscapes and frequencies of therapeutic sound instruments. Your evening will include the sounds of over 15 crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, native drum, rain stick, tingshas, and koshi chimes. All off these instruments will play a part in our experience as they bring their own unique textures and tonal qualities to your sonic journey.

Week 6 will focus on the Third Eye or Ajna. Located on the forehead between the eyebrows, the third eye is the sixth chakra - the center of intuition and foresight. The function of the third eye is driven by the principle of openness and imagination.

WHAT TO BRING
Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and water for hydration while lying in shavasana (corpse pose). Other items are welcome (eye pillow, bolster, extra padding, crystals). Please arrive 10-15 minutes to get settled.
